My layout has changed. It is now a freelance prototype layout named Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Joppa Railway or PB&J. Locally know as the peanut butter and jelly line. In Baltimore is shares the PRR NE mainline in and out of Penn Station. It is based in the 1950s. The PB&J is coal hauling railroad running early diesels and some traction. The Baltimore Transit Co. is also modeled. The layout is 30 by 60 foot. The control system is NCE DCC. The signaling system is CTC using CMRI.

Our Mine for the layout
This is Consolidated Coal Company No. 87.
It and several other deep shaft tipples are the basis for a free lanced tipple which will be located in one of the southern PA coal fields and served by the PB&J. It will be known as J. Withrow #1.
